Action, education and frogs.
The Chrissiesmeer Frog Festival was hosted by Chrissiesmeer Primary School on Saturday the 17th of November in association with Friends of Chrissiesmeer.
Organised by Ursula Franke, of The Endangered Wildlife Trust, to educate the public about the importance of South African wetlands. The event encouraged people to find the 13 frog species resident in Chrissiesmeer and a herpetologist provided all of the tantalizing information about our important hoppers.
Special thanks to Ursula from the Twister Chip Team for an eye-opening event, filled with hunting of the right kind.
Eyeball our events calendar for the next event where you can get your fill of our feast on a stick.
